Within the Vedas it is clear that reference to truth is one, and this truth to man is seen in different ways.
Ishwar (God) is formless, and giving Iswar a ‘form’ in order to focus ones Bhakti (devotion) allows channeling of mans’ thoughts.
Brahma – The Creator
Vishnu – The Preserver
Maheshwara – The Destroyer
Hindus beieve in many deitis, such as Ram & Krisna, that relate to a part of life and it’s process, but these should not be confused with the supreme Ishwar.
